ABOUT DBK

DBK Aero supplies commercial airframe materials – nose to tail – to airlines and OEMs worldwide. We specialise in outright sales, loans and exchanges across all major fixed-wing and rotary platforms, with tailored solutions built around your operational needs.

We trade on transparency, knowledge and long-term commitment – building relationships that work as efficiently as the aircraft we support. Woman-led and drawing on over 40 years of aviation expertise, we bring both experience and a fresh perspective to everything we do.

We are deeply committed to sustainability and are actively developing responsible sourcing and trading practices, because the future of aviation depends as much on how we work as on what we supply.

QUALITY

Every decision and transaction at DBK is driven by a commitment to quality, underpinned by the rigorous standards of the Aviation Suppliers Association, because in aviation there is no acceptable margin for error.

THE TEAM

DELPHINE KENNEDY

CEO

As CEO, Delphine leads DBK’s strategy and business development with a strong focus on sustainability. Delphine founded DBK Aero to do things differently – building a business where quality, relationships and responsibility sit at the centre of everything.

Her aviation story began at home. Growing up with a father who worked as a mechanic on ATR and Fokker aircraft, she was drawn to the industry before she could explain why – something in the smell of kerosene, she’ll tell you. That instinct led her to arrange her own summer placements at TAT Industries (now Sabena Technics), and from there, a career took shape.

At Avtrade she discovered a talent for sales, progressing from Sales Admin to Sales Team Leader and taking ownership of both commercial operations and business development. At UAM she was appointed VP of Sales, successfully launching their UK satellite office. She went on to establish the surplus entity for Meggitt, before developing EMEA sales for Aviation Concepts. Each role building on the past and broadening her understanding of the industry and what clients truly need.

Throughout her career, Delphine has worked alongside some of the industry’s most respected professionals – experiences that shaped her leadership style and inspired her to build her own business. With over 20 years of experience in aviation, she brings deep industry knowledge, a love for travel, and a natural gift for cultivating strong, lasting customer relationships.

Fluent in French and English, Delphine is an active advocate of Women in Aviation. For her, the saying ‘Work hard, play hard’ couldn’t ring more true – it reflects the passion, energy, and balance she brings to every aspect of her life and career.

EMMA BURNELL-JONES

OPERATIONS MANAGER

As our Operations Manager, Emma is the driving force behind DBK’s day-to-day operations, bringing order, process and long-term thinking to our fast-moving business. Supporting us to scale organically and sustainably, Emma has a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to growing a positive organisational culture.

Emma’s aviation career started with 15 years at British Airways Engineering, where she developed a rare breadth of operational experience. Early in her career, she had the unique privilege of managing inventory for the iconic Concorde – a moment that cemented her passion for the industry.

Whilst at BA, Emma held a range of demanding roles, from managing inventory across the entire fleet to building strong working relationships between inventory and fleet operations teams. She also negotiated and managed IT contracts for BA Cargo, implemented sales strategies for BA Engineering’s external customers, and project-managed the inventory stream of the aircraft standdown programme. Emma’s depth of experience and passion for aviation make her perfectly positioned to help write DBK’s next chapter.
